LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, left wall thickness well below recommended minimum and some rivelling, treble-grip action with carved oak leaf and acorn fences, removable striker discs, slender toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, intercepting sears, fine border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining traces of colour-hardening, 14 3/8in. well-figured stock with steel heel and toe plates, bolstered fore-end wood, weight 6lb. 7oz., in its brass-cornered leather case
